CALLING ALL CREATIVE TEENS AGES 13-18!
We’re thrilled to announce an exciting new program dedicated to teen mental health. Our aim is to guide teens in discovering meaning and purpose in their lives, steering them away from the pitfalls of illegal drug use or substance misuse.
According to a study presented in the American Psychosomatic Society journal , a sense of purpose in life correlates with improved behavioral and physical health outcomes. Additionally, a higher sense of purpose is associated with protective factors such as enhanced stress management, higher pain tolerance, and lower impulsivity—factors that may reduce the likelihood of drug misuse (Kim et al., 2020).
